Decent place for traveling to Charlevoix and exploring local places. Comfy and beautiful rooms where a second chair would have been helpful. A great selection of goodies for breakfast. Great experience there.

The location of House Bed & Breakfast is fantastic! I loved how close I was to downtown and the ferry dock. The cozy living areas provided a nice touch. Breakfast options, while limited, included tasty items like bagels and eggs. The beds were comfortable. The room I stayed in had a few issues. The description was misleading, and the slanted ceilings in the Beautiful Suite made moving around difficult. The room was on the third floor and required navigating steep stairs, tough with luggage. Noise from outside traffic was noticeable at night. The service during breakfast felt disorganized, with insufficient seating . The charm is there, but some areas need focus for a better experience.

Beautiful historic home, charming outdoor seating, unique themed rooms
The parking situation is dire!!! Limited spaces leave guests scrambling!!! The lack of clear directions on room amenities is frustrating!!! Poor maintenance is evident with creaky floors and insufficient lighting!!! Rooms are cramped and not described accurately!!!

Spent two nights in a cozy suite with a super comfy king bed and enjoyed delicious breakfast frittatas both mornings. There were chill spots like the guest lounge and pretty garden to unwind. Just a heads-up, the stairs can be a bit tricky for some, but overall, I had a lovely stay! 😊

The staff was nice, and we enjoyed fun outings like visiting Castle Farms. Our kids had a blast exploring the nearby beach, and the location made it easy to access the downtown area for shopping and dining. Having the king-sized bed was definitely a plus!
For dads, it would be great if the stairs were easier to navigate.

The location was excellent, great for easy walks to the lake and downtown. The room had a comfortable king bed, but the light was insufficient for reading. Breakfast was nourishing with options like scrambled eggs and sausage one morning. Plumbing issues and road noise detracted from our experience, and the layout of the shared areas could get chaotic during breakfast times.

Should you go for it? My answer
The location is a gem, just a short stroll from downtown. Liz, the innkeeper, is warm. Breakfast is self-service, with options like scrambled eggs and sausage one morning, though the setup is a bit chaotic. The Guest Cottage on the second night had a spacious bathroom and comfy king bed.

We explored Lavender Hill Farm and enjoyed the charming ambiance of the porch. The comfortable beds. There's cable programming for entertainment, and you can walk to downtown easily. I'd recommend it for a fun getaway with mates.
The check-in process was delayed. It would be good to suggest they improve communication in the future.

Just a solid selection for a short staycation in Charlevoix with good value for cost. The bed was very good and made for a comfortable night. Arrive early for breakfast, as they don't replenish the hot items after the rush.

The location was ideal, just a short stroll to downtown, the ferry dock, and nearby dining options. The hotel's communal areas provided a warm atmosphere. Every room had its own unique charm.
The floors creaked quite a bit, which may be a consideration for light sleepers.
